This holiday season, the spirit of giving and celebration filled every corner of Missions Inc. Programs, as residents and staff came together to create meaningful memories through decorations, gifts, and activities.
Bickham Court
A holiday gift registry brought festive cheer to residents at Bickham Court. Thanks to the generosity of Cargill employees and other community members, the registry was a tremendous success, with many toys provided for children, ensuring each resident felt the warmth of the holidays.

Hart House
Residents of Hart House participated in Secret Santa and received donated gifts from St. Philip the Deacon Church.
Home Free Shelter
This past Monday was a day of kindness and care at Home Free Shelter. Lennar Homes made their annual delivery of gifts for shelter families. Dave Stamps, marking his 40th year, continued his cherished tradition of taking shelter children to shop in Wayzata for presents for their mothers. Volunteers also joined in, spending the afternoon wrapping gifts for the women. The day radiated love and generosity, leaving everyone feeling valued and celebrated.

Mission Heights
The holiday gift program, organized by St. Philip the Deacon Church, brought immense joy to Mission Heights residents. Precious and Jailah were thrilled to receive matching boots, while Meatour couldn’t wait to wear his stylish new Crocs. Michelle, a newer resident, was overwhelmed with gratitude as she unwrapped her generous gifts, marveling at the size of her gift bag and feeling deeply thankful to be part of her new adopted family at Mission Heights. Kate has been busy using her new whiteboard to organize her life and turning the magazines she received into inspirational postboards. James (aka Jay) felt a heartfelt connection to Craig, the church member who gifted him chocolate and gift cards, but it was Craig’s handwritten note that truly touched him. Jay has carried the card to all his meetings, proudly showing how someone took the time to connect with him. Sarie, the Program Manager, added humor to the festivities, noting her newfound “bilingual” skill of translating cursive handwriting on the gifts for younger residents!
Mission Lodge
The festivities began with decorating the dining area on December 3rd. On December 11th, residents gathered for the annual holiday party, complete with gift-giving from a local church. The holiday cheer continued on December 17th with a Christmas craft activity, where residents partnered with Mission Nursing Home residents to create ornaments, followed by a festive holiday lights tour around Plymouth. The celebrations wrapped up with a Holiday Bingo event on December 19th, where big prizes added an extra layer of excitement.
These holiday moments showcase the generosity and community spirit that make the season so special for our residents. Thank you to everyone who contributed to spreading joy across all our programs!
