We’re proud to announce that Mission Nursing Home (MNH) was awarded a VA Community Nursing Home (CNH) contract starting August 1, 2023. This partnership enables us to provide even greater support to Veterans, offering them expanded choices for long-term or rehabilitative care close to their homes and families.

Through this collaboration with the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System (MVAHCS), eligible Veterans can access VA-paid short-term rehabilitation and/or long-term care at MNH. In 2024, we served 22 Veterans through this program, compared to only 4 in 2023—showing a growing need for skilled nursing for our veterans.

The CNH Program ensures high-quality care by conducting regular clinical reviews and care coordination, while also offering Veterans access to specialty services like mental health care, dental care, audiology, and more. Additionally, VA services can include therapy and medical transportation for eligible Veterans.
