We are thrilled to announce that our partner, Trellis, has been selected as a recipient of Minnesota Housing’s 2024 Project Selections! This crucial funding will provide capital for renovations at Bickham Court Apartments, enhancing the quality of living for our program residents.

To celebrate this incredible milestone, Minnesota Housing hosted an event at Bickham Court on Friday, December 20, 2024. The event featured presentations from Commissioner Jennifer Leimaile Ho and remarks from Elizabeth Flannery, CEO and President of Trellis, and Bickham Court residents. It was a meaningful gathering where attendees learned about the impact of preserving affordable housing and the vibrant community at Bickham Court.

A special highlight of the event was hearing from residents, Amber, Corrine and Oaklyn, who shared their powerful stories about overcoming the threat of losing their homes and how the preservation of Bickham Court has given them hope and stability. Their genuine words underscored the importance of this project and the collaborative effort between Trellis, Missions Inc., and Minnesota Housing.
