Position: Administrative Assistant
Program: Home Free Community Program

Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for all phases of office management, recording systems and procedures necessary to the operation of the Home Free Community Program. Responsibilities include administrative support to the program coordinator, data entry, program reports, answering telephones, advocating for battered women and other general office duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
Prior experience in an administrative position and computer (Word and Excel) and database (Access) proficiency required. Must possess good organizational and communication skills and the ability to respond to women in crisis. Bilingual a plus.

Position: Women's Advocate - Full-Time (1) and Intermittent, On-call
Program: Home Free

Position Summary: Women's Advocates are primarily responsible for providing advocacy, crisis intervention, support, information, and access to resources appropriate to the needs of abused women.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Knowledge of social service, welfare, mental health and criminal justice systems pertinent to the needs of abused women.
-An understanding of and sensitivity to the unique problems encountered by women and children needing shelter and advocacy services.
-Ability to respond to women and children in crisis with appropriate listening and intervention skills.
-Ability to work well with people from diverse racial, cultural, social and economic backgrounds.
-Non-sexist attitute and behavior.
-Ability to work as a team member.
-Valid MN drivers license id required with a driving record acceptable to Missions Inc. insurance carrier.

Position: House Manager
Program: Mission Lodge
Location: Plymouth, MN

Position Summary: House Managers provide direct service to men and women who have a chronic addiction to drugs or alcohol. They are responsible for monitoring resident activity, ensuring the safety and well being of all residents.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working in a residential program is required. Good working knowledge of chronic chemical dependency, homelessness and poverty. Ability to work well with people from diverse racial, cultural, social and economic backgrounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

Position: RN Unit Manager
Program: Mission Detox Center
Location: Plymouth, MN
FTE: Part-Time (20-24 hours/week), weekdays. No weekends or holidays required.

Position Summary: The RN Unit Manager reports directly to the program director, providing program management support and oversight of client health care services including supervision and training of nursing staff, development of policies and protocols, and client advocacy.
Minimum Qualifications:
MN Registered Nurse license, minimum of two years supervisory experience, knowledge of chemical dependency, and the ability to work well with people from diverse backgrounds. Prior experience in acute or critical care setting preferred. Must be able to work with people from diverse racial, cultural and social and economic backgrounds.

Position: Licensed Practical Nurses
Program: Mission Detox Center

Position Summary: Nurses provide health care services for patients undergoing detoxification and serve as the responsible staff person on all shifts.
Minimum Qualifications:
MN LPN license and one year nursing experience is required. Must be able to work with people from diverse racial, cultural and social and economic backgrounds.

Position: Chemical Dependency Technician
Program: Mission Detox Center
Location: Plymouth, MN
FTE: Part-Time (20 hours per week)

Position Summary: Technicians assist in the detoxification process of patients as requested, maintain high standards of care, and provide chemical dependency education to patients, families and the general public.
Minimum Qualifications:
-High school graduate or GED.
-Interest in or knowledge of chemical dependency.
-Upon employment, successful completion of Mission Detox Center technician training, including ability to perform basic health assessments, first aid, client care functions, adolescent development and special needs of seniors.
-Must present evidence of freedom from chemical dependency for 1 year.
-Abiliy to work well with people from diverse racial, cultural, soical and economic backgrounds.
